Sign up for a Nutrition Consultation with Angela Taylor, M.S.

I practice a holistic approach to Autism and ADD recovery, which means that I look at how all areas of your family life are connected. Rather than reach first for medications, I prefer to begin with:

- Intake to assess where we are starting with current diet, hydration, sleep, speech, and challenging behaviors
- Set incremental goals for you and your child
- Slowly "crowd out" problem foods from the family kitchen by replacing them with healthier upgrades
- Implement Gluten-Free and/or GAPS diet
- Improve everyone's sleep habits and duration.
- Reduce screen time and increase exercise to reduce hyperactivity
- Stool Testing for pathogens and leaky gut (such as GI-MAP)
- Organic Acid (OAT) urine testing for nutrient deficiencies
- Explore other biomedical interventions as needed, including supplements, gut/microbiome repair, ABA, speech therapy, functional testing, chiropractic, homeopathy, MNRI, Theta Healing, etc.

For many it can seem daunting to embark upon making positive changes, and I am here to provide you with support and strategies for success. Together we will explore why some foods affect health and behavior more than others and how to strategically use that feedback. As we work together, we will look at how all parts of our lives affect our health as a whole. By defining what you value most for your family's well-being, we'll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. Together we'll co-create your family's health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you're working toward.

An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your family's health and happiness. As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and we'll navigate the world of Autism and ADD interventions together to explore what truly works for your family.

"Angela was able to help me via bi-weekly phone sessions in which we set goals according to progress that had (or had not) been made. She had very organized notes from our sessions that allowed me to remember our conversation if forgotten. The most significant overall change I've noticed has been clarity in my son's thoughts, sentences and conversations with others. I would recommend my coach because of her personal experience in dealing with kids on the spectrum. She is knowledgable about many things related. I find that it is easier for a coach to guide you through your own path when they can relate to your situation and Angela did just that. It allows more of a connection as well as feeling comfortable in knowing that you are not alone — and that when there is a need to learn, there is someone willing to help you with open arms. She approaches coaching the way it should be approached: honesty, experience and knowledge."

"Last week we stopped wheat and dairy for our son. Both seemed to affect him badly, particularly wheat (it affects me too) and so we just stopped in one day. His behavior and mood have been better - and he slept better for 2 nights. And he had two VERY TOXIC smelling poops, for lack of a better word."

"Angela's book is a Godsend for those wanting to implement the GAPS diet, but fearing that they won't be able to get their child to eat the food. Includes kid-friendly classics such as GAPS-legal versions of chicken nuggets, carrot fries and pecan waffles. The recipes are easy to follow, ingredients are readily available, the finished products are delicious, and the photos are inspiring - all in all, a great cookbook!!!"

"Angela and I discussed healthy food solutions to combat cravings. She recommended teas for stress and concrete ways to improve sleep and liver function."

"I do wish that I had listed to Angela's advice and had the testing performed at the beginning of our 6-month coaching program. After the testing [4 months into coaching] Angela reviewed the results with me. She provided recommendations on which supplements were needed including the brands with the highest absorption rates. Angela created a spreadsheet with links to purchase the supplements which saved me quite a bit of research and time."

"I felt that Angela truly listed to my concerns each week. She provided suggestions in a non-judgmental way. Angela gave me strategies for stress management, helped me realize how important sleep is to our entire well-being, and helped us make restorative sleep a priority."
