BrainFood Health Coaching - SpectraCell Micronutrient Testing

Overwhelming evidence suggests that nutritional deficiencies may be a contributing factor in Autism and ADD. When treating nutritional deficiencies, Don't Guess - Test! SpectraCell Laboratories has developed highly specialized micronutrient testing (requires a blood draw) to measure 33 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in your body and evaluates how well your body actually absorbs and utilizes each nutrient. In disorders like Autism and ADD, the potential improvement of symptoms when even a single deficiency is corrected can often be quite dramatic.

Costs: For new/current 6-month program clients who 1) have insurance 2) Pre-Pay, the costs for testing are:
$190 Micronutrient
$45 CardioMetabolic
$40 Thyroid
$5 CBC w/diff
$5 Comprehensive Metabolic
$285 SpectraCell Total (plus addl blood draw fee)

(optional for adults:
$5 Adrenals (Cortisol)
$40 Male/Female Hormones)

For a list of SpectraCell blood draw sites visit Find a Draw Site.
(There are components of these tests which require fasting. Please schedule your blood draw first thing in the morning. You may drink water before your test, but please do not consume anything else. Make an appointment, and bring food with you to the draw site so you may eat immediately afterward. Clients for whom this poses a difficulty: for an additional fee you may hire a mobile phlebotomist to come to your home first thing in the morning.)

It takes time and expertise to achieve repletion - retesting is recommended every 6 months until all deficiencies are corrected.
It takes most clients 2-3 years to fully correct all nutrient deficiencies.
