Instead I coach my clients to explore basic diet improvements and implement gradual lifestyle changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. I believe the SCD/GAPS/Paleo approach may be the one of the most important interventions for your Autistic/ADHD child as it sets the foundation for your child's brain to be receptive to all other therapies you are offering him. However I've come to realize there are many reasons people are reluctant to change their diet.

The good news is — I've already been there — and I have solutions to all of these challenges! Our intention is that your child's life, and your life, will improve when you implement the SCD/GAPS diet. My son now has lost his Autism diagnosis, we dissolved his IEP, he attends a competitive private school, and has many friends. While I still cook most of our food from scratch, I have streamlined our weekly meal prep so that I am spending less time in the kitchen. Now that he is recovered, I have time to pursue my own career and interests, and my body and skin look better than ever.
